Vietnam Draws 10.7M Visitors in First Half of 2025

(MENAFN) Vietnam has welcomed nearly 10.7 million international tourists during the first six months of 2025, marking a significant 20.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year, media reported Sunday, citing figures from the National Statistics Office of Vietnam.

The influx of foreign visitors remains robust, with arrivals in June alone hitting nearly 1.5 million—a 17 percent rise from June 2024, according to the same report.

Experts attribute this rapid growth to Vietnam’s eased visa regulations, strategic promotional campaigns, and intensified digital marketing initiatives. The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism emphasized that these combined efforts have played a pivotal role in attracting more global travelers, fueling the country’s tourism sector recovery and expansion in 2025.
